Travel writer, maybe?

Because I love to write and I love to travel, combining my 2 passions feels a natural thing to do. On my travels I have encountered many an obstacle, made quite the number of mistakes and spent too much money on things I should have saved on; yet, I remember all my adventures fondly. The country I know my way around in best is Ireland, as I travel there quite frequently.

I love travelling to new places and encountering different cultures. I think it’s so col that this blog gives me the chance to offer other travellers advice that I wish I would have had. Being a country girl myself, I have a soft spot for visiting big cities and experiencing the energy there. My favourite cities include London, New York and San Francisco.

Traveling has been my passion for as long as I can remember.
Getting into the car with my parents and just going south are some of my fondest memories. Italy, France, Greece… You name it, I have been there.

After graduating from highschool back in 2002 I set out to discover the world.
Roadtrips along the US west coast have been motivated by classic American movies and impressions of the landscape I had to see those spots in real life. Trips to New York City, Florida, Chicago, Vegas and many more followed.
In 2006 I had the chance to live in Paris for a year when I studied literature and linguistics in one of the many universities in that amazing city. I had never felt any urge to go to France, but I completely changed my mind after only a few weeks in the capital.
Since then I have been traveling whenever I have gotten the opportunity and my goal is definitely tosee as many places around the globe as possible.
With this blog I want to share my experiences and enable others to travel as smoothly as possible without spending more than absolutely necessary. Traveling is for everyone and money should never be an obstacle!
